The existing church lighting utilised tungsten flood lights which were inefficient and difficult to maintain as the lamps had a short life. Drama by Design were commissioned by this church to provide a new interior lighting scheme that would provide better light levels, be cost effective to install and have longer lamp life with lower energy consumption.

The resulting scheme utilised discharge luminaires to both uplight the underside of the structure and illuminate congregation with some low energy compact fluorescents to illuminate the areas with a lower roof height.

Light levels are optimum, the system is far more energy efficient and maintenance levels have dropped considerably.
