Drama by Design is a global consultancy practice working on Theatre design, Auditorium design, Drama/Dance Studio design, Multimedia, TV, Recording and Radio Studio design and AV systems design for meeting rooms, teaching spaces and lecture theatres.

We have experience working on projects all over the world and our work ranges from schools to professional theatres, lecture theatres and performing arts centres as well as multimedia studios in both in education and for world leading broadcast organisations and professional bodies.

In the UAE region we have worked on the specialist design for a range of projects including:

• Arts Theatre, Bahrain – new build professional theatre auditorium
• Bahrain Chamber of Commerce – new build auditorium/lecture theatre incorporating simultaneous translation system.
• GEMS Wellington Academy, Dubai – new build school including a theatre auditorium, drama and music spaces.
• ACS School, Doha – new build school including a theatre auditorium, two drama studios, music/video recording suite and Maidan.
• ACS School, Abu Dhabi (different client to above) – new build school including a theatre auditorium, black box studio, drama classroom and TV studio.
• Rashid and Latifa Schools, Dubai – two new build schools (boys and girls), each incorporating a theatre auditorium, black box drama studio and music recording suite.
• Aldar Veterinary Hospital, Abu Dhabi – new build auditorium/lecture theatre for a training facility.
• Dubai EK Hangers – new build 950 seat auditorium, where we assisted with the design of the space, and designed all the AV, stage lighting and seating systems
• American University of Sharjah – creation of a new multimedia studio and interpretation suite in existing building, we worked on the acoustics, and design of the specialist systems for the studio space
